I keep seeing people sharing their email address on web , use different text obfuscations to protect their addresses from these email harvesting bots ..

A novice email harvesting bot typically have a lookup module,a parser module.Lookup module looks into different file extensions ,domain names and blacklist the Anti spam honey pots set up these Anti spam companies
Parser module includes a web page scrapper ,rule engine to where to look for ,So the point is a small change in this module can easily overcome the these text obfuscations.
I feel a image based is better way to share your address similar to this
Another way is to have a media file like a .wav file which will spell your email address.
These techniques will surely make these bot writers life harder
